Fisher Investments Research Department
Research at Fisher Investments is conducted by a team of analysts and associates-all of whom report to the firm's Co-President and Director of Research. This team is responsible for keeping abreast of developments-for specific stocks, regions, and markets. The Fisher Investments Investment Policy Committee (IPC) is responsible for strategic investment decisions affecting firm portfolios. The IPC works in close collaboration with the Fisher Investments Research Department which is also based in Woodside, CA. The close proximity of senior management to the Research group allows for seamless communication and allows the IPC to analyze information provided by the Fisher Investments Research Department in a timely manner.
Fisher Investments Market Outlook
The Investment Policy Committee bases major portfolio decisions on the firm's current market outlook or forecast, which is based on the firm's extensive research. Some of this proprietary research, along with the firm’s market forecast, is featured in the Fisher Investments Stock Market Outlook, a quarterly report designed to provide insight to investors.
With assistance from the Research department, the Investment Policy Committee is well informed on specific securities, regions, and sectors that could positively or negatively affect the firm's current outlook and client portfolios. As portfolio decisions are implemented, clients are kept abreast of any major changes to either the firm's market outlook or their specific portfolios.
